On behalf of the board and staff, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all our clients and collaborators who have placed their trust in the Centre over the last 29 years. Over its long history, the CCH took the helm or participated in projects including co-founding the BC Zoonoses Symposium, Promoting sustainable aquaculture in Sri Lanka, the Animal Determinants of Emerging Diseases webinar series, serology and epidemiology of neosporosis in dairy cattle, and the Canadian endemic disease reports. The Center trained many of the veterinarians and scientists that are today’s One Health leaders in academia and government. These CCH alumni apply the systems-based, collaborative approaches learned at CCH to solve complex challenges across Canada. Even though the CCH as an institution is winding down, its legacy of positive impact will continue.
Thank you for being part of our journey. If you have any questions or queries related to the days ahead, please feel free to reach out to us.
Sincerely,
Theresa Burns,
Director, Centre for Coastal Health
